Not necessary writing the message, only call to my cell

Hi,

there exists a little black-box. It's only task is to send snmp-packages to
your machine to proof the connectivity. It's outside in an extra box and
should be plugged-in on a independent power supply. This box is able to send
messages per mail, sms, or something like that. Sorry, but I don't remember
the name of the company, how sell it.
An other idea is to use an internal ISDN-card, but it won't work, if the
System is unstable or crashed.

Most of the newest network minitoring tool has this kind of options -
alerting (via. sms, e-mail, signal ...) in the case of any troubles - for
example Adrem Netcrunch.
