Is,nt time the uk put a warning on all alcohol drink?

We should ban all alcohol on tv aswell.

If cigs are ban why is,nt alcohol?

Here a good note to put on alcohol:

Long term drinking can lead to a slow death.

Banning alcohol on TV wont stop people drinking... Its a choice people make whether they want to drink or not. Advertising dosent really come into it.

You should notice that all alcohol advertisments say "Drink in moderation" or "drinkaware.co.uk" or something like that - so there ARE warnings...

Cigarettes are worse than alcohol. You can't "Passively" get drunk... and such like

Why do you post this?

Yes, that was my question too

Where did this come from & what does it have to do with anything?

Perhaps you are posting this in the wrong forum?

It does seem to be a little... out of place?

& it is presented rather like a "Rally speach" rather than as something of personal relevance that you wish to discuss.

Banning something makes people only want to buy it/drink it/smoke it/or wear it more.

And telling people what to do can lead to a slap

What did prohibition in The States lead to?

It's proved that a glass of red wine a day is beneficial to health, ask any of those 100 plus year old Sicilians.

I can't stand temperance societies or those who attempt to impose their will on others.

And dammit, the wife's no longer with me, I've given up smoking, I need something

Don Van Vliet 1941 - 2010. And the acid gold bar swirled up and down, up and down.

If that is the case why have sex on drinking advertisment?

Not true

Both alcohol and cigs kill.

alcohol is the main reason down to crime and deaths.

So they are both killer.

If you check today there more people drinking ever more.

So if cigs are ban on tv so should alcohol aswell.
