Alcatel USB Modem and Wion XP SP1

After downloading and installing Service Pack 1 my modem
is no longer found or recognised until I unplug the modem
and reinstall at which time it is installed no
problem.However,following reboot the same thing happens.

Is it true that this Modem is incompatible with this
Update? I tried reinstalling the modem and software after
the SP1 update but I still have the same problem. I have
tried with Drivers 1.4 and 2.0

Anyone help me please?
