I have Windows XP(sp3) and a problem in WindowsMediaPlyer 11.

I download much mp3 music as Entire Album sets, along with the appropriate
AlbumArt [Large+Small], and Folder jpg's intact.

These are put in appropriately named Folders, and the Folder jpg is assigned
@Rt Click>Propeties>Customize>Set correct File type to "...for one album.,
then "Choose Picture".
The problem's are that when WMP11 is engaged, some of the files within the
Album Folders are mysteriously changed, for example:
- Track Numbers [at file name 01, 02, etc.] change,
- certain Properties are changed, such as Album name, year,
- and Incorrect Album Art Materializes [that was not even on my PC before].

Also, when I Rt-Click on an Album Cover and tell WMP to "Update Album Info",
usually the Correct Album Art shows up and the list of songs is OK.
But, somtimes WMP will tear an Album apart into two or three [2 or 3]
different albums, and that's when I discover the changes within the File
Location Folder.

HELP, two different complimenatry Anti Virus/Anti Spyware programs cannot
find any Malware on my system, so I think the culprit is in WMP 11

You are not alone! Mine also does the same.
It also moves them around on the portable device when I do a sync.
