OK, new problem. Main driver (6-5_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_32464.exe) installed OK,
though even with disabling the catalysts control center at startup, it added
about 60mb to my running processes (including two instances of "ati2evxx.exe"
whatever that is. No biggie, I guess.
Then I go to the downloads for the Multimedia Center 9.14 - there's the same set
of 4 downloads, whether I choose RADEO or ALL IN WONDER -- but then at the 4th
download, it tells me that for cards older than the 9000 series (mine is the
7500) I should not download it and instead use MMC 9.02. :
https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...ge&folderID=27
But when I went to the "previous versions' section, 9.02 is not there.
Anyone know where it is?
By the way, my capturing days are over, so do I really need the MMC at all? All
appears to be working fine, with just the main driver installed, as mentioned
above.
