it should have no problems with Mpeg 2 DVD High, however 5.1 is not an
option . Just stereo.
I think it is capable od 1080i, but not 100% as i do not have a n HDTV at
the moment.
Do not expect tru DVD quality though as you ar eonly dealing with an
analogue input source (TV).
Bt in my experience on my 32" Panasonic Tau, it is good enough for me to use
my computer as a digital VCR.
