ABIT AN7 mobo
Athlon 2500+ (barton) running as 3200+
512mb PC3200 ram
Windows XP pro SP1, latest patches
Latest ATI drivers, MMC, etc.
Just installed card, TV tuner working fine so far.
I tried using the FM radio, and it sounds like crap. The only time it sounds
half way decent is when I push the mute button on the FM tuner control
panel... it doesn't actually mute the sound, but seems to clean it up. When
un-muted, i get an "echo" effect that drowns out the sound. I went to my
audio mixer settings and it seems that the FM tuner sound is bleeding
through to both the line-in and wave volume controls. Seems strange since
the TV tuner works fine.
All insights appreciated.
