A bit O.T., but perhaps some kind soul.....
I inadvertently installed the latest AIM Beta
and don't like it at all. I know how to
uninstall it, but I can't seem to find a
download of any recent AIM version........

A lot looks different. There is an Explorer. And
I can't even get it to uninstall right. I can't
even go to the link you posted, Carey, because
some of AIM's .dll has been removed. I hate that
kind of 'gotchas'. I may just go to an XP clone
from before I 'upgraded' AIM yesterday.

Thanks, Rick, but no. I prefer my own substitute for
System Restore. I always have a recent enough Drive
Image as well as a recently cloned hard drive. One
of those, plus a copyover of my Mozilla mail system
to bring it right up to date, gets rid of newly
added garbage like the latest 'improved' AIM.
