aic78xx errors

I have an Adaptec 2940 scsi adapter installed and am running XP pro.
Peripherals connected to the Adaptec card are Pioneer DVD 303 drive, Iomega
Zip 250 drive and Epson GT 7000 scanner. Although all the devices seem to be
working OK, I keep getting an event 11 error on AIC78xx. I have checked the
knowledge files from MS and found some information, but none that seems to
cure the problem.
Any ideas/advice would be appreciated
