Have to replace video card(agp 32 meg), died, and wondering if I should stay
with agp or go with pci?
The agp on the 5 year old system is a 4x and I notice agp cards today are
8x.
Not sure of the speed of the 4x agp vs pci.
FYI-Don't do any high tech gaming.

suggestions & thanks,

PCI-E is the format of choice these days. However if you are without a
PCI-E port and only have AGP and PCI, I'd definitely go with AGP.

This system doesn't have the newer pci-e slot.
Even though the system is only 4x that's still faster than a pci card?

Thanks

Yes - AGP is faster/better than PCI.
