An aggravating little red x

I'm running Windows XP Pro. In this system, I have a
Creative Labs SCS DVD-RAM drive and a Yamaha IDE CD-RW.
Everything was working great until I installed
MusicMatch. Ever since, in my device manager, there is a
red x on my creative labs dvd drive and on the daemon
virtual drive icons. Windows cannot enable the devices.
I have uninstalled music match and I have gone through the
registry but I cannot get these devices to work anymore.
I have uninstalled all the drivers and let XP rediscover
all the devices but for some reason, it no longer likes my
creative labs and daemon virtual drives. My cd-rw works
fine as do both of my hard drives.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Your best bet would be to try System Restore to a date
prior to when all this took place.

Worth a shot.
