SORRY FOR A REPLY 2 YEARS LATER BUT FOR THOSE WHO STILL HAVE ISSUES WITH THIS SHOULD:
1)GO TO SEARCH
2)TYPE - triggers
3)delete "triggers2" when it comes up
4)Reinstall.

I tried reinstalling AoM after many years not playing the game. AoM installed
without a hitch but the expansion cannot install.

expansion in the newly re-created C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of

Titans expansion must be uninstalled (which I can't do because it's not

install the expansion in another directory.
The kicker is the installation interface *does not allow* you to change the
installation directory, as far as I can tell.
Support.Microsoft.com is completely unhelpful, not only do they want to
CHARGE you for the priveledge of sending their support people an email, they
don't even have a listing for AoM at all! I shouldn't be surprised but I am
this close to tossing this old game in the garbage. Any help?
