I will be playing AOM, the game will minimize by itself.
No Alt TAB or anything like that. I can click on the
minimized bar on the desktop and the gae comes back to
normal, but this is very annoying. Any ideas would be
greatly apperciated.

Most of the time when that happens, its because
something important is happening with the system. Does
anything pop up when it minimizes out? If not, then check
to see if there is a patch available for that problem.

What other software do you have running? Kazaa can sometimes cause apps to
minimize, Norton is often a nuisance and can cause many a weird glitch or
too, it's best to close everything else down, if that works, go through one
at a time and find the responsible app.

I'm also having this problem, although it happens with many games. I am
running Norton AV and Firewall and will try shuting them down.
