after xp install...w2k boot fails missing hal.dll on 1 of 2 partit

's Computer Specifications

Multi-Boot System. W2K on 2 partions working ok
Added XP Pro on 2nd HDD.
Now boot error: missing/corrupt hal.dll - W2K System disk on rdisk(1)partition(1)

W2K boot ok on partition(3) and
XP boots ok on rdisk(1)partition(1).
