Hi all,

I am not sure this is the right newsgroup for this problem (sorry if
this is the case),

As I said in the Subject I reinstalled Windows XP after a bad
ripartitioning to make room for a Linux distribution.

After the re-installation, with the recovery CDs, Windows works well
but I noticed that the Character Fonts are not as bold as they used to
be.. and some images for example from the browser show dithering..

I thought about a configuration problem with the graphic card but it
seems well configured..

I have a Compaq Presario with an ATI Radeon 9200SE and a flat screen
Compaq 7317.

The Screen panel on WinXP shows that the resolution is 1280x1024 with
32 bit colors.

Under the Hardware configurations the Video Card appears on 2 entries
:

1) Radeon 9200 Series
2) Radeon 9200 Series Secondary

The HP/Compaq assistance told me it should be normal.

Every suggestion/idea is welcome

Thank you in advance

Alex
