I performed minor information updates, changed a few dates, nothing fancy!!!
, but now it will not open through internet explorer, I tried on all of my
computers, I do not get an error message, it just will not open. I t opened
before I updated.

You could try re-publishing it again and see what happens.
If that does not then undo the changes you and try again
After that
Go to control box (if you have one) at the web server and make sure your
site is there.
