I have a HP pavilion 555e, desktop, I did a system
recovery and once it was recovered, I didn't know what to
do. My computer will not system restore in xp home
edition and I am unable to download my updates from MS.
I have tried to do the application recovery and it will
not, it's as if they are not there. I can not get
my .NET framework or the update 2 to load from hp
application recovery. I think you are my last hope. I
believe I am stuck in NT 4.0. HP has been no help at
all. My computer is only 5 months old. This all started
from an alert HP sent me about the wormblaster virus. I
had all the updates at that time from Microsoft. But my
computer started acting funny at that time.
