Sounds like you've identified the culprit. I bet it is replacing the
GINA so that it can establish a network connection before a user logs
on, which most wireless adapters have problems doing. I don't know how
to help you with the GINA replacement, other than to uninstall the
realtek driver/software to verify that doing so fixes the problem.
