After sending a message my outlook displays "send/receive error"

Using Outlook 2003. Whenever I send a message, the message is gone but the
display shows "send/receive error" instead of send/receive ok. This started
only a few days back ever since I installed wi-fi at my soho. Sometimes
messages are not received in also and the same error displays.
