Hi,

I have a strange issue with the XP prof. I frequently use the Remote
Desktop Connection from home to work computer and after disconnecting
the session and coming back to work next morning, I am unable to unlock
the computer.

The computer shows, the locked screen with no domain user name to
unlock.
In normal case it will read "This computer is in use and has been
locked. Only DF1\vrk_mct or an administrator can unlock this computer"

The exact problem string is "This computer is in use and has been
locked. Only or an administrator can unlock this computer". It's
missing my username DF1\vrk_mct.

I have tried other administrator logins as well as the domain admins to
unlock the computer and no use.
Also, from RDC, I tried logoff, restart my work computer and resulted
in same problem.

The only option is to pull the power cord and restart the computer.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Suresh
