Hi

After a power failer, I am able to turn on my computer and windows XP window
seems to be loading up, but then I see a black screen with a white cusor.

I have tried to rebooted it and then press F8-I have tried to boot from the
last know config and safe mode, but nothing.

Any sugestions?

A power failure / spike could cause hw damage
If you are unable to boot in any of the safe mode options, and assuming you
have data backups, then try a repair installation
