I installed McAfee Security Center the other day, once completed I was
required to right click on my icons and select "Run As" and then deselect
"Protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity." If I
don't, then I get an error message stating "Windows cannot find (file path).
Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." How do I get my
system back so that all I have to do to run a program is double click on it?

No, I don't think that this is the same thing. I can run my programs, I just
need to select "Run as..."
