After installing fresh copy of xp with service pack1 what update should be
installed which includes all the previous updates and virus patches.

Just turn on the built-in firewall and then visit Windows Update.
The list is long, although much shorter than before the security
rollup was issued late last year (covering up through about the
patch ms03-034). Visiting WU will get a number of updates after
the rollup as well as some updates for items not covered by
security patches.
