after directX 9 setup can not open outlook

I just got my desktop back on the net and after i installed directX9 to
support my new video card i can not open Outlook and IE and Firefox do not
have add on's

Sounds like you need to post to a group that supports your operating system.
When you do, please include all relevant information (completely missing
from this post) like OS version, Office version, complete verbatim error
messages, etc.
