Hello,

I am running Windows XP SP1 and I have configured the TCP/IP Filtering as
follow:
Permit Only:
- UDP Ports : 500, 67, 68
- IP Protocols : 50

With this configuration I should not be able to ping internet address like
ie: 198.133.219.25
But I can ping this address

What's wrong , Any idea ?

Note : I can NOT upgrade to Windows XP SP 2 now

Regards
Toto

That feature is for permitting or blocking inbound traffic only, not
outbound. Furthermore, ICMP is always allowed.

From your list of permitted traffic, it seems like you want to allow DHCP,
IKE, and IPsec ESP. Do you already have an IPsec policy in place on the
computer, then? If so, the IPsec engine is b
