I have done the install for SP1 to IE 6 and it went flawlessly. However, I
cannot do any other IE 6 updates because I get the message "You must have IE
6.0 SP1 installed". I have checked the version and it does say that SP1 is
installed. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Try Reinstall the Internet explorer 6 service Pack 1 again.

Windows version?

Are you installing these further updates via Windows Update?

The error is stating that you already have the update installed or a later
update which supersedes it.
