Access is denied.
my system then shows a pop up to say it has been neutralized
adwear name Adware/searchExe and gives the location
the problem is that ever time I use the pc this keeps coming back and evey
time I open onto any site the page is directed to another offering adware
removal programs?
how do I get rid of this? have tried adware removal programes with no luck.

First eliminate any spyware.
What You Should Know About Spyware

CAUTION!!!!! Removing some spyware can damage the Winsock stack and you may
not be able to connect to the Internet. Before you try to remove spyware,
download a copy of LSP-Fix - a free program to repair damaged Winsock 2
stacks AFTER you remove the software (all Windows versions)

How to Reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in Windows XP

In WinXP SP2: You can fix Winsock by going to Start | Run and typing
CMD
In the command window type
netsh winsock reset
