Can someone tell me if adware and spyware need to different programs to get
rid of each one. if yes can you give me some good adware protection .I
never have a problem with pop ups but last week im getting these things pop
up for golden casino, or i won something or saying i have adult tracks on my
computer and to test now i click no and it starts to test anyway. i have
windows defender and untill now it worked great. These boxes pop up and go
to a new screen.i use mozilla and im told linux is better. I just got the new
version of mozilla and its no different, helllllp

Not all adware/spyware removers are created equal, and some do miss
things that another will catch. That's why most knowledgeable people
use two or three different products.

To find and/or deal with issues caused by any sort of "adware"
and/or "spyware," such as Gator, Comet Cursors, Xupiter, Bonzai Buddy,
or KaZaA, and their remnants, that you've deliberately (but without
understanding the consequences) installed, two products that are quite
effective (at finding and removing this type of scumware) are Ad-Aware
from www.lavasoft.de and SpyBot Search & Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org/. Both have free versions. It's even possible
to use SpyBot Search & Destroy to "immunize" your system against most
future intrusions.

the Registry, you can render your system useless if you wrongly edited the
Registry, so back Up first):

regedit.exe click [OK]
On the Registry Editor locate this Key:

Look in the Right Pane/Window for the search Bar and Search Page if it for
this tool bar delete it.

[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Toolbar =
look for the extension of the toolbar in the Right Pane/Window.

[-] HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Look in the Right Pane/Window for the search Bar and Search page if it for

2- Download the Hijackthis and send the report to one of many
forums for analysis and troubleshooting:
When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. Post
your log to http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30,
http://castlecops.com/forum67.html,
http://forums.subratam.org/index.php?showforum=7, or other appropriate
forums for expert analysis, not here.
Please perform one step (1,2) at a time and see if that will help your
issue.
