How does this industry work??

By scanning my computer online with some of the multiple
online services available, I have been informed that my
computer is infected with "spyware" and/or "adware."

Apparently, my anti-virus software doesn't consider this
to be a threat and therefore does not check for or clean
adware or spyware.

Is there ONE service or software that I can purchase that
will be reliable of keeping my computer free of viruses,
adware, spyware, etc?

Spy ware/scum ware is NOT a virus, and you shouldn't expect an antivirus
program to find it.

Download and run adaware and spybot.

Without seeking updates before each and every use, none of these spyware
tools are useful.
