I ran the Microsoft AntiSpyware (Beta 1) and removed all
the adware/spyware that it showed. I then ran the Yahoo
Antispyware and it showed the following still on my
computer:

AdKnowledge.com
AtlasDMT.com
Atowla
Bluestreak.com
Classmates.com
Com.com
Fastclick.com
Hitbox.com
ServedbyAdvertising.com
TribalFusion.com
Z1.Adserver.com
Gator/Gain/Claria
I then ran the one that is supplied by Earthlink (
Powered by Webroot) and go the following :
Adserver - cookie
Atlas DMT - cookie
Go.com - cookie
Incredimail - cookie
Maxserving - cookie
How do I find out just how many adware/spyware programs
are installed on my computer and how do I get rid of them
once and for all ?

It's an art, at the moment!

One thing that you should know is that cookies are not scanned by Microsoft
Antispyware in this beta version. So the additional findings of cookies by
other scanners would be expected.

That may account for many or all of your list--I'm not familiar with either
product so I don't know if Yahoo tags cookies as such.

I also have Yahoo Antispyware, and on my PC it identifies
many of the same ones you found as "Tracking Cookies".
Microsoft Antispyware currently doesn't do cookies, since
they do not represent as much threat as the other stuff.
