If you are looking to eliminate Adware and Spyware from your computer, visit
www.adwaredoc.com
What makes us different from a computer company is, our professional
technicians come to your doorstep and remove your adware and spyware
headaches from your computer in the convenience of your home. This new
company will be launching all over the world, 2/15/04, so watch out!! We
already have 12 techs in 50 states waiting for adwaredoc to launch. Why lug
your computer out of your house and bring it to a computer store, they
supposedly fix it, and then you lug it back home. THAT HEADACHE IS OVER, LET
US WORK FOR YOU!!

this site.

A couple of things: please leave your god out of it. Newbies post here all
the time so it is not a "tech forum" only for techs. That said, you are
right about one thing. This is spam.

"12 techs in 50 states"

So, a tech from New York may have to travel to Oklahoma. Wow, can you
imagine how much it would cost the computer user in travel expenses?

OK it's spam but brings back some memories. Starting about 1995 I
noticed a trend by quite a few software developers who sold big ticket
items [50K to 200K] packages to trucking companies, 1000 employee
distribution companies, etc. to provide on-site tech support for their
product which included hardware even tho they didnt initially supply the
hardware [tho they did start selling pcs later on]. The client always
blamed the software I suppose.

Yeah, they had perhaps a half a dozen techs who would fly to the
destination here in the new york / new jersey area to fix the problem.
We were in the phone book with a big display ad so they'd call us for
hardware. I loved it price was NEVER an issue. Checks came in within a
week. It was always just a controller card, video card, PS supply, etc.
easy stuff.

I sort of miss working on those full towers and using 36 inch IDE cables
