Hi There,
Just wondering if anyone could advise if they have experience a problem
witha windows 2000 server sporadically failing to respond properly to
terminal services sessions and direct console access. What happens if the
server stops responding properly for some reason (evt logs aren't exactly
helpful in this case). When the server stops responding the terminal services
sessions are no longer accessible, direct console access no longer responds
however I can still connect to the server disk (\\server\c$) which in turn
means network connectivity is still functioning.
Anyone have any ideas as to what the fix could be? I'd like to use a tool to
monitor what is happening as we are not getting dump files. At least if I had
dump files it would point me to the error... I can't run filemons or regmons
becuase it'd fill up the disk on the server so if anyone know of another
freeware tool I can use to diagnose this issue please let me know asap.
Thanks all for your advise in advance.
Cheers,
Jeff
