Hi all.

I am looking for some advice about a problem I'm having with my monitor and
graphics card set up. Basically my IBM G54 15" monitor is good upto
1280x1024 which my OS (XP Pro) allows me to select no problem from control
panel>Display and the settings tab. However once I install the driver for my
Nvidia GeForce4 MX 440 (latest version - 5.2.1.6) no such option is
available ;o( with 1024x768 the maximum resolution available. Any way I can
ovverride this (aside from disabling the graphics card driver!) a piece of
sofware perhaps? I've tried Powerstrip v3.5 but couldn't got no joy with
that. Should I be looking at the monitor or the Nvidia driver as the source
of the problem? I am considering treating myself to a 17" TFT but will I
encounter the same problem? Might I be better off replacing the graphics
card instead? Both!?! Any recommendations?

Advice much appreciated folks!

Thanks in advance.
