Hello
I had been using Lime Wire 4.8.1, but some reason I can't figure out, has
"short-circuited" and after numerous days, can't get reinstalled.

I'm calling on assistance from someone that can give me advice on what other
freeware or shareware programs with a similar format, or even better, as Lime
Wire.

I have not even thought of or considered other programs.

Please respond with alternatives. I would GREATLY appreciate it.

LimeWire X - 4.8.1
Gnutella peer-to-peer file sharing client. The below listed apps are
similar to
LimeWire, some are completely free, others charge by disk or the single
download.
Kazaa or Kazaa Lite (not recommended), Grokster, iMesh, Shareaza,
WinMX (free & excellent), eDonkey or Morpheus. Just add .com after the name
and type it in your browser. If you are denied access to any, it is due to
continental/country boundaries. Have fun. :~)
