Advice Needed: Storing Computers

I will be shortly leaving the UK for 24 months on business and am
renting my property.

I have some storage arranged for some of my personal property, furniture
etc., I have a HTPC and two further PC's plus keyboards and TFT monitors
that have to go into the storage facility. All three machines are recent
builds so won't be to ancient when I return.

The storage facility (Capital Self Storage) is a newly built dry but
unheated facility. Should I store the three machines and accessories in
sealed plastic bags or will this encourage condensation or just loosely
cover with removers Hessian blankets?

Does anyone have any recommendation or advice concerning the long term
storage of computer equipment.

Thanks for any help or advice

Martyn

'Where exactly in the Bible does it say a man can't fire off some
knuckle-children in the privacy of his own neighbour's living room while
his neighbour's at work because I don't have a DVD player? Well, I don't
know where it says it because the Bible is way too long to read'

I say no to the plastic. Just dust covers (sheets, blankets). Condensation
is the killer.

Too true...

Give, or sell them for what you can get. I won't keep more than one
spare computer, for temporary uptime in case anything happens to my
main computer.
