is there a way to advertise msi's from zenworks, so that the shortcuts
appear asif the applications was installed. i know on active directory you
can publish or assign them.

I don't know what zenworks is, but an MSI file can be advertised by installing
with the /j [m] [u] option to msiexec.exe (or the equivalent in a script or
program).
