Yes. Just don't use any features or functions that require the use of a web server or the FP
extensions. Have you consider using PowerPoint instead?

As long as it is HTML based.

Thanks for the fast reply! Yes, I have thought about
Powerpoint, but I was hoping to also make a website with
Frontpage. I have both programs and right now I'm
exploring my possibilities.

PPT will require users to have PPT or the PPT viewer
(or a pack and go w/ the viewer for them to install),
Html should be viewable on all PCs

Yes, you can, I do it all the time. Just make a folder on
your PC for your CD content, then open an FP web. Create
your pages as usual.

The info will have to be in traditional (static) HTML
because the CD can not act as a server to create dynamics
in .asp. There are programs that claim to be able to run
server software from a CD, but I have not tried them.

You can use js, streaming video, Flash, gifs...almost
anything a browser can read.

You should also include an autorun.ini to fire up the
site when the CD is loaded.

Could you help me out with the autorun.ini? I created a sample test website, I have a small .avi file, and a .wav file on the site. I tried creating a text file in notepad:
[autorun]

open=start index.htm

I inserted this file in index.htm. When I tried my test CD it did try to open on it's own but I got the message that there are several different formats on the disc and I had to choose which one I wanted to open the contents with.

So to make a long question short, is there way I can make this CD open on it's own in a browser?

Thanks to everyone for all the help I've received!
