Adventure Maker is a free innovative toolkit for Windows that allows
creating point-and-click games and multimedia software in minutes,
without any scripting or programming. You can choose between creating
software for Windows and for PSP.

Its concept is very simple: you import your pictures, you add some
hotspots to link them to one another, and you are done! It is
particularly suitable for the creation of first-person and third-person
adventure games, interactive magazines, educational software,
presentations, interactive visits, and 360-degree interactive panoramas
(Windows only).

The Free Edition allows creating compiled redistributable files for
Windows, or stand-alone games for PSP. It provides Load/Save-game
functions, inventory items, conversations, full-screen transitions,
water/smoke effects, multi-channel sounds, animations, and more.

And while this prog is freeware, it is a stripped down version of the
commerical version so it is missing many features which adventure games
need.

I guess you're write. It seems like this Tramp person doesn't even
check out the websites or downloads. I'm guessing that he does Google
searches for freeware & then posts them without even checking.

you have freeware and freeware and the only thing you want to do is to kill
Tramp for his/here postings. Really sad.
For me is this the same discussion as the "real" freeware discussion.
Only trolling persons and how to get persons in a killfilter or how to stop
the
postings. There are a lot of people who are happy with all the Tramp posts.
Strange isn't it?
You want real adventure game or whatever software? Pay for it!
I stopped making freeware software because of you crying morons.
It doesn't work on XP; problems with my special mouse; graphic problems;
why doesn't you support my language?
Why? Because it's freeware!
There is a Grimm fairy-tail : The Fisherman and His Wife.
You crying morons are the fisherman's wife.
You are never happy with the things. It must be perfect freeware with all
the functions you like to have.
If you don't like the freeware, just delete it from your computer.

Maybe people are already happy with the "limited" versions.
Do I need the latest Photoshop or Autocad? Maybe, but maybe there is
already freeware software capable of doing the job. It's nice to evalute
freeware software and a good way to understand what I'm really looking for.
And if I have to download tens of programs and have to install them just to
see how they work, well, that's life.
I have a lot of problems with the (payed/freeware) programs look and feel.
Maybe they are not my look and feel, but they could be the best freeware
solution. If that the case I'm very happy with Tramp's postings; maybe not
the best freeware program, but with a look and feel I like.
And if it's not the case I'm very happy to download a new program,
evaluate it and remove it from my computer :-). If I like it and even if I
don't use it, I can offer to make a translation. Isn't it strange, such a
idiot
like me?
But I always can put myself in a kill-filter.

I don't know WTH you are but resorting to but name calling is not need.
Resorting to calling people morons is stupid. If all your going to do
is call people names, then FO.

I don't know who barked up your tree but calling people who complain
about things is stupid. So, you stopped programming freeware because of
people complaining, well then it is you who have a problem. If you
can't take people's opinions, then I'm glad that your not creating
freeware programs anymore.

When you develop software, you have to take the good with the bad but
since you stopped making software because of people complaining, it is
you who have the problem.

I was merly pointing out that this prog is a stripped down version of
the commerical version which means that features are missing. When I
post, if the prog has a freeware & a commerical version, I try to
mention it.

Remember this, you can't please everyone. And one more thing there is
no need to call anyone on this group morons.

Which doesn't make it any less freeware, FFS.

I didn't say that it wasn't freeware. I was just warning people who
don't like downloading light versions. And no, I am not against light
versions which are freeware versions of commerical software, I am some
light versions installed on my comp such as HTML Shrinker Light & other
light versions so I am not against light versions. Some people refuse
to download light versions, I'm not one of them but there are some
people who do.

For example, check out this picture at
http://www.adventuremaker.com/images...d_pricing4.gif
which shows what the features the freeware version has compared to the
commerical version.

If anyone needs freeware game creation systems for creating adventures
games, goto http://www.ambrosine.com/resource.html (this site contains
freeware, shareware & commerical game creation systems).

But I recommend that people needing freeware software to create
adventure games download Adventure Game Studio aka AGS from
http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/ . AGS is a freeware game creation
system for Windows which allows to create adventure games similar to
the Sierra & Lucasarts adventure games. AGS is freeware & doesn't have
the limitatios that Adventure Maker has.
