Greetings

Could any kind or knowledgeable person point me in the direction for any
website that gives some detailed help or explanation of the various settings
in 'Tools > Internet Options > Advanced'. I'd like to try to understand what
the settings do so that I could customize my browser.

Apart from the google link given to you by another poster, you can
also press the "?" button at top-left and then press your mouse cursor
on each entry in the 'advanced' list to reveal some basic MS info.
