I purchased a Maxtor 740 HDD 80Gig 7200Rpm. It came with
an ATA133 controller. It install very well and the wizard
detected the new hardware. I loaded the CD MAX-BLAST PLUS
II but it said it was not XP certified but was told to
ignore that message. My question is if I now use an ATA133
should I disable the one in my BIOS and does anyone know
of an upgrade driver for this Controller. If you can help
e-mail me thank You
Ron

Have you tried searching here, for a Utility, or an upgrade?

Good luck,
