I used to be able to right click on a folder and use the Advanced Find tool
to find unread emails. I used to use this all the time in my Deleted emails
folder and I can't find any way to do it in 07 version.

Wouldn't it be easier to simply open the folder and change your view to
"Unread Messages" so that Outlook simply sets a filter to show you only
the unread ones?

Thank you! All I needed was a way to do it, but I didn't know about the View
option.

So I guess the answer is you can't right click on a folder to use advanced
find a.k.a., updated version, reduced functionality/productivity from MS -
again. While your solution may work for this instance it doesn't in general.

Before I could right click on any folder, not just the one I was in and
bring up advanced find (similar to right clicking properties on any folder),
enter any search terms I wanted and click search now. It also searched
subfolders and kept that box checked which it no longer does (really dumb!!).
So now the process is get out of the folder you're in, go to a folder you
want to search, then click tools, then search, then advanced find, remember
to click browse since you can't see the box for subfolders until you do that,
enter search terms and click search. Usually you do this twice since it's
easy to forget clicking browse to get the subfolder box. Then you have to do
this all over again, except for the search terms if you wanted to check
another folder for the same info.
