Where can I get a listing of the values associated with the Field choices?

I am trying to search messages containing specific types of multimedia
attachments. I chose Field=Multimedia Clips, Condition=equals, and
Value=???. I tried searching on known file extensions for multimedia files
such as .gif, .wmv, .pps, but I keep getting the error message "The value is
not valid."

So there must be a validation list somewhere that is being checked, whether
in a file or the Registry. Where is it?

I would like to add to Roy's query about values in the Advanced Tab of
Advanced Find.
When using a date field you can use values such as "this week and last week"
or "90 days ago". Is there a list of acceptable values and/or syntax?
