What is an ADU (yes, ADU) file? It was put on my computer (Dell Inspiron
8600, running WinXP Pro w/ SP2) about ½ hour ago. I looked that file
extension up at the site that MS suggested to no avail.

Scrolling through a Google Groups search of all discussion groups, I
found that it could be a library _AD_dition of _U_sers' dictionary
words. Did you recently add your own words to a spell checker? You can
look for other uses for that extension with this link:

It's apparently not a standard extension at all. It's not listed on
www.filext.com.

Whenever you have a random, non-standard name like this, you should suspect
malware.
