Hi,

I recently installed a Win2000 SP 4 on a client and now it doesn't connect
anymore to Internet through my Zyxel Prestige 650HW router allthough all the
network configs are right and the machine is shared and accessible in the
network by the other clients, which all connect to the Internet, even WinXP
SP2 clients !

Does anybody know about issues in SP 4 concerning Internet connectivity,
ports, security matters...etc that may alter the Internet connection and if
yes, is there a solution ?

You are saying you can use MS Networking on your SOHO LAN to and from other LAN nodes but
you can not access the Internet ?

Have you tried PING and/or use NBTSTAT on the Win2K platform pointing to other platforms on
your LAN or doing likewise from other nodes pointing to the Win2K SP4 workstation ?
