I just got ADSL the modem is a SIEMENS xpresslink Ethernet adsl modem. It
connects to the computer through the network card.
I though that I could add an extra NIC card so that I could use the ICS
(internet connection sharring) of xp so that my second computer could
connect to the internet too.
I used to have this with my dailup modem. The 2 computers were connected via
NIC cards and the modem was a serial modem. Everything worked ok.
Now I seem to have stumbled on a problem, with the 2 nic cards on one
computer the adsl modem seems to get mixed on which one it must use...
Is this correct?
Anyone out there with a similar configuration that may help me out???

THANKS

thank you mike, your advice did give me the energy to continue
experimenting. so i got the combination correct! the funny thing is that
the technical support from the isp company said that it was impossible to
do what I was attempting!!
I didnt believe it was true...
Now I have had internet on a second computer with XP and Linux (dual boot).
The ICS machine has XP pro also. But this does not matter at all since the
ICS of Home is exactly the same!

thanks again

kenny
