I use this to back up by hard drives but I am wondering if anyone is having the same problems.
with External Hard drive enclosurers. I have a samsung 76.3 GB inclosed.
I do have problems with the drive letter M displaying in the My computer window from time to time.

What would be the main cause for this I'm using XP professional. The only solution I have found is turning off and on the external hard drive. Sometimes I have to re-boot the desktop.

I have run defrag and error checking and wonder if there are any upgrades on the drivers worth considering.

Can someone explain why the exteral harddrive is called a repeater?

Thanks
