I have a user that opened a .pdf file with Word, and now
when you double click any pdf file, it will open with Word
and display a bunch of garbage.

I can open Acrobat first and then open the file that way,
but this user is less than computer savy and he would like
to just double click the pdf file and have Acrobat open it.

I right clicked a pdf file looking for the open with...
option but it's not there. Can anyone help me return the
pdf file to open by default with actobat?

I know this seems trivial but any help would be
appreciated,

thanks
Jeff

Get a new user

Reinstalling the Acrobat Reader should set the preference

Try opening Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, File types, then scroll
down to PDF, select it and then Restore. That should switch it back.
