Adobe Reader stops IE6

Greetings,

After viewing web data in the .pdf format (product data sheets, for example), upon closing the Adobe Reader the Internet
Explorer windows stops running and has to be closed via the task manager. Both Adobe and IE have the latest updates, as does
XP. Any thoughts?

One additional possible symptom: occasionally when Adobe is starting it will install the Windows Journal Viewer. I cannot
discern a pattern of when it does and when it doesn't.

Thanks
LarryS

Me too!
Well, sometimes.
I also get the same thing when using Sun Java applets.
This is VERY interesting, because I have scoured the net
and cannot find any suitable reference to the same
problems.
Do tell me more about your system, please:
Processor, motherboard, Video adaptor etc if you can.
Also, are you using Norton Antivirus, and if so what
version?

Many thanks,
- Steve B

Note: System here is XP on Athlon64 3200+, Asus K8V
motherboard with Nvidia video and Norton Antivirus 2003.
