Adobe Illustrator files viewer

Hello group,

I'm looking for a freeware viewer for .ai (Adobe Illustrator) files. The
AI tryout is far too big and bloatet. IrfanView don't work also XnView.
Any ideas ?

I have looked too but not found much for that....

Found this in a forum:

"Adobe Acrobat should be able to open them, depending if that option was
checked when saving the files."

That is, if you don't mind using that bloated, slow-loading POS.

Just read that Inkscape might do this. Worth a try!
