With XP Home Edition I have an Adobe Photo Downloader icon that I want to go
away. How do I eliminate the icon?

Is the icon in left side of your Taskbar? If yes, then it is called Quick
Launch. To remove the icon just right-click on the icon and click delete.

If the icon is in the right side of the Taskbar (near the system clock) then
it is called System Tray. To eliminate icon from System Tray, you have to
unload it from Startup Programs group.

1. Click Start - Run - type MSCONFIG and press Enter key.
2. Click the Startup tab and carefully uncheck the entry for Adobe Photo
Downloader.

If you didn't find any entry for this program. Then open the Program and
find an entry like "Load this program with Windows startup" and uncheck it.

Hope this help, let us know!

* Tip of The Day *
Extending Taskbar in 2 Rows can be useful, if you want to see Date along
with Time.
